Good afternoon, very happy of having you here at Imbert, my name is Valentin Hernandez Mayor of this city, and we thank in the name of Imbert, the donations that you have brought from Canada and we thank you, and we are really pleased of having you here. The city of Imbert with 30 thousand people founded on July 30th of 1900 , and celebrating our 108 year of being declared a municipality . Totally dependent of Puerto Plata. A hospitable and friendly town, We had a company that produced sugar, but it disappeared long time ago, leaving here a need for the population. Talking with the Director of the Hospital, that i was really interested on him to being here receiving all the aid that you're providing us but unfortunately he has two surgeries and that's why he cant be here with us, I apologize for him but he left here Benita Jimenez wich is a doctor and provides service in this Hospital to welcome you, to this warm town . Dominicans are good people, hard workers with dreams and hopes to be better human beings every day. We want to thank to the Government of Sosua as well, our partner Calritza for all the effort, we say thank you and hopefully that link will last forever. And say that all the help that you give us you can make sure its going to be well used , we are a poor community, and we can mitigate the poverty that we have in here . Thank you very much.
